2 cups rolled oats
1 cup Naosap Harvest Wild Rice Flour
1/2 cup shelled hemp seed
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/3 cup brown sugar
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup raisins or dried fruit
1 handful chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup honey
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup oil
3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce (add more = chewier)
2 tsp vanilla extract
-In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, hemp seed, brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, chocolate chips and salt. Make a ‘well’ in the center, set aside.
-In a small bowl, combine honey, egg, oil, apple sauce and vanilla.
-Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until bars begin to turn golden at the edges.
