EASY VEGAN CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD
1 cup hazelnuts, toasted
1 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup melted chocolate
1 teaspoon Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract
Toast hazelnuts in a frying pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir to prevent burning. Reduce heat to low and add milk. Cook for 5 minutes. Add hazelnut mixture to a blender or food processor along with the cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted chocolate and vanilla. Pulse until everything is combined and smooth. If necessary, add some extra milk to make everything nice and creamy. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
